Moose Jaw is never lovely any time of the year.
(May also move there eventually)

Well then, I also hear that winters in Regina are very enjoyable.

I was just in Regina four hours ago. I also wouldn’t recommend it.

That just about exhausts the cities in Saskatchewan I can name off the top of my head. I can also go Prince George, Swift Current and Saskatoon. Most of those I just know from WHL hockey teams.

Saskatoon is -50 right now.
Speedy Creek Swift Current exists.
Prince George is in BC. You may be thinking about Prince Albert, which is a great place to go if you have a jail sentence.

See? Lovely! and I did mean Prince Albert. I don’t know why I wrote George other than that’s another WHL team.

That’s not even in Kentucky. :)

You guys got a lot more snow than us, as usual. Almost all gone here.
Have fun with the new obligation!

WHL teams are a good way to learn western Canadian metro areas of import - most cities of significance will have a team (Winterpeg just getting back into it , how Cranbrook managed a team for 20 years is amazing). Some of those bus rides have to be brutal.

The bus rides from the US cities like Seattle, Portland or even here in Spokane to the teams in Saskatchewan and v ice versa has to be a killer. Luckily they don’t do those loops very often.

I suppose the bus rides might be good training if the kids play in lower level minor pro, where they also travel by bus. Imagine a ride from Portland to Brandon or Winnipeg - at least they get stops.
